The annual Service in memory of officers and men who lost their lives December 14 1944 when Aldenham was mined and sunk in the Adriatic (the last British-manned destroyer sunk in WW2) is to be held at the Church of St John The Baptist in Aldenham near Watford on December 15 at 1015.
The Ensign dedicated in 1982 will be laid up and a new Ensign re-dedicated and raised in front of the stained glass window and Book of Remembrance. Afterwards a small buffet will be held at the Aldenham Sports and Social Club (a short walk from the Church). All friends and relatives are welcome.
